CWELCC for Blended Families — Who Signs the Contract?

CWELCC enrollment is linked to the child’s primary caregiver of record — the parent or guardian who signs the enrollment agreement at Daisy Days Daycare. In blended family situations:

• The primary parent (with the child the majority of the time) typically signs the enrollment agreement
• Both parents can be listed on enrollment documents
• Both biological parents have pickup rights unless a court order states otherwise (which must be provided to Daisy Days Daycare in writing)

Communication in Shared Custody Situations

Daisy Days Daycare defaults to communicating with the primary contact listed on enrollment. In shared custody situations, we can copy both parents on written communications (newsletters, invoices, reports).
