At Daisy Days Daycare, you are NOT billed for statutory holiday closure days. Your monthly invoice reflects only operating days — the number of days the centre is open in that billing period. Your monthly costs will be slightly lower in months with multiple statutory holidays (December/January, October, etc.) and slightly higher in months with no holidays.

Planning Your Backup Care for Stat Holiday Closures

Saskatchewan has 11 statutory holidays per year. Plan your backup coverage in advance — particularly for:

• Easter long weekend: Good Friday closure (some families assume daycares open on Monday — Daisy Days Daycare does open on Easter Monday)
• Canada Day: Falls on different days of the week each year — check the actual 2026 date
